Police Confirms Death of Second Victim in East Bus Station Shooting

Police Confirms Death of Second Victim in East Bus Station Shooting

Police have confirmed the death of 18-year-old Malachi Martin, the second victim in the Last Lap shooting at the East Bus Station. He died at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center at 1:01 am on Wednesday, August 14.

Malachi was one of three other victims who got shot and injured on August 7. Kergus Martin was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. One man remains hospitalized and is said to be in stable condition.

The Police Administration expresses condolences to the bereaved family and is offering them their support and assistance during this difficult time.

Meanwhile, police are appealing for additional information in the ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call the Crimestoppers anonymous hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).
