Several Being Questioned by Police

Several people are in police custody being questioned in connection with a number of offences.

On Friday, August 23, the police executed over a dozen search warrants on several different poperties across the island and have detained a number of people for questioning.

This includes two men from Parham, who are being questioned for robbery, among other things, after the police found them with ID’s and Debit Cards belonging to different people, along with a bicycle suspected to have been stolen.

 

There are others held for questioning in connection with Illegal Firearm and Ammunition, Robbery, House Breaking and Larceny, Larceny, and Malicious Damage. A Willikies woman is among those being questioned in connection with suspicion of robbery.

The police are resolute and committed to fighting crime and are calling upon the citizenry to give them their full support.
