President of Antigua & Barbuda Free Trade Union, Samuel James

Today the workers at Antigua Masonry Products have once again gone on strike to push for their retirement benefits and salary increases.

This marks the second strike this week and the third in the past two months, all due to the ongoing struggles in negotiations with the company’s management.

    Well, things are indeed getting harder, a request for a raise in benefits and salary for retirement is no surprise.
