Parents to be charged up to 5K if Minors Break Curfew

The government plans to amend laws this coming Tuesday, to impose stricter penalties on individuals who violate the law. The proposed amendments to the Firearms Act include increasing the minimum sentence to 2-4 years and the maximum sentence to 20-25 years.

The government emphasized that they aim to send a strong message to individuals involved in criminal activities, emphasizing that crime and violence will not go unpunished.

As part of the new measures, a curfew will be enforced from 10 pm to 6 am, and law enforcement will have the authority to take in any youth found loitering during these hours. Furthermore, parents of such youth will face a fine of $2,000.

  1. Gaston Browne please. Get us the chains and sleeping pills. When we are tired and asleep these children sneak out. I will go to jail before I pay money when my rebel child leaves home without my knowledge
