On Saturday, former rival gang members in Antigua and Barbuda used a football game to cement their recent truce, with Prime Minister Gaston Browne kicking off the game.
The truce was brokered between the 2-Drilly gang from St. John’s City West and the Grays Farm Thugs from St. John’s Rural West.
Prime Minister Browne joined the 2-Drilly team, playing as a striker for the game’s opening minutes, which ended 7-5 in favor of the 2-Drilly gang.
The large crowd in attendance agreed that the real winners were peace and unity.
Well done Mr. Prime Minister
Well done. This just goes to show that no matter who was killed, maimed, robbed or in other words assaulted by these two groups, a game of football will fix the harm done and erase all the crimes
Well let’s hope it stays that way. But maybe Gassy just grooming them for later.
Y’all are some real JACK ASSESS.
I hope they continue on the right path.
