HR Professionals Day a Success Despite the Rain

The Human Resources Professionals of Antigua and Barbuda (HRPAB) is pleased to once again reflect on a successful HR Professionals Day, held on September 26th, 2024.

Despite some rainy weather, approximately 55 HR/Management professionals from a wide range of industries gathered for an engaging afternoon of learning and networking.

This year’s event featured two prominent speakers: Dr. Curtis Charles, Dean of Academic Affairs at UWIFIC, provided insightful commentary on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the HR landscape.
Following Dr. Charles, Dr. Monica Osborne-Stevens offered valuable insights on Employee Wellness, a topic of increasing importance in today’s work environment.

The diverse audience included representatives from government, hotels, statutory organizations, banks, consulting firms, security firms, unions, insurance companies, and many others.

The lively discussions and exchange of ideas demonstrated the strong commitment to professional development within our HR community.
HRPAB remains dedicated to advocating for the advancement of HR professionals within Antigua and Barbuda, as well as on a wider regional and international scale. We are committed to providing ongoing educational opportunities and fostering a strong network of support for our members.
