Jvaughn Farrell, an 18-year-old resident of New Winthorpes, has undergone surgery and is currently in critical condition following a stabbing incident that took place on Saturday night.
Antigua.news was the first to report that he was admitted to the hospital in serious condition.
According to law enforcement, the incident transpired in Barnes Hill when a silver vehicle approached, occupied by three armed men. One of the assailants reportedly stabbed Farrell multiple times. One of the wounds, according to reports, punctured his lungs.
Authorities are urging anyone with information that could aid in the ongoing investigation and the apprehension of the suspects to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or Crimestoppers at 800-8477.
