The finalists for the Taste of Wadadli Junior Chef Competition have been determined after two rounds of intense culinary battles.

Competitors were tasked with incorporating the star ingredient, Chief Curry Powder, into either chicken or fish dishes. Each team was given 1 hour and 30 minutes to prepare their culinary creations.

The competition kicked off on Friday at Sir Novelle Richards Academy, with eight schools vying for a spot in the finals.

In the first round, Christ the King High, Pares Secondary, Glanvilles Secondary, and Irene B. Williams Secondary faced off. Junior chefs from Glanvilles Secondary and Pares Secondary emerged victorious.

The second round saw reigning champions St. Joseph’s Academy compete against All Saints Secondary, Antigua Girls High School, and Antigua Grammar School. St. Joseph’s Academy and All Saints Secondary advanced from this round.
