JCI Antigua proudly announces the groundbreaking success of

Senator Shenella Govia, who has officially been elected as International Executive Vice President (IEVP) of JCI at the JCI World Congress which happened October 29 – November 2nd in Taiwan. This momentous accomplishment marks a series of unprecedented milestones, both for JCI Antigua and the JCI West Indies, as Senator Govia becomes:

  1. The first person from Antigua to hold the International Executive Vice President (IEVP)
  2. The first female from Antigua to achieve this honor.
  3. The fourth person from the West Indies to serve as International Executive Vice President.
  4. The first female from the West Indies in this role.
  5. The youngest International Executive Vice (IEVP) from the West Indies.

Senator Govia’s election not only brings pride to JCI Antigua and JCI West Indies but also exemplifies JCI’s commitment to expanding opportunities for women and youth in leadership roles. Her historic appointment reflects the organization’s dedication to inclusivity and global impact, setting a new standard for aspiring leaders within JCI.
