The man charged for killing Asot Micheal, the former member of parliament for St Peter, is expected to make his first appearance in court today Monday. He will answer to the charge brought against him on Saturday.

In news that sent shockwaves throughout the nation and further afield, Micheal was found dead in a pool of blood at his Dry Hill home on Tuesday morning. One of his maids found him lying there lifeless, with several stab wounds about his body.

26-year-old Alexta Francis of Golden Grove was taken into custody on Friday and was officially charged on Saturday. According to reports, he confessed to the killing.

  1. I wish court cameras were allowed in our courts. In that way, the public would be able to see and hear and judge for themselves the cases presented. Then we would not have to put up with crappy suggestions and conclusions of d….. a…. whose only qualification is the possession of a cheap phone!
