BAKU, Azerbaijan – 13th November 2024……During the ongoing COP29 activities in Baku, Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda had the opportunity to meet briefly with the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame.

This impromptu exchange highlights the growing importance of global cooperation on climate change issues, with both leaders discussing ways to enhance their nations’ climate resilience and sustainable development.

The meeting comes at a pivotal time, as global leaders gather to address the challenges of climate change, particularly its impact on small island nations and developing countries. Both Antigua and Barbuda and Rwanda are working on enhancing their environmental policies and pushing for stronger commitments from larger nations.
