Celebrating Maurice Hope’s Inspiring Journey!
The Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in London hosted the launch of Land of Hope and Glory by Maurice Hope GCH MBE on December 11, 2024.
Maurice shared his journey from Antigua to becoming a world champion boxer, overcoming the challenges of the Windrush generation, in a lively conversation with sports commentator Jaydee Dyer.
High Commissioner Karen-Mae Hill praised his achievements:
“Maurice Hope embodies the resilience and triumph of the Antigua and Barbudan spirit. We are proud to celebrate his legacy.”
The event featured music, inspiring stories, and heartfelt moments, celebrating an icon who continues to inspire.
