Police are continuing investigations into a vehicle accident which resulted in the death of 39-year-old Shawn Jones of Green Bay.

The allegations are that Shawn was driving a white Daihatsu Delta Motor Truck from North to South on a by-road in Herberts when the vehicle began skidding while travelling up a hill.

He reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which eventually caused it to flip and land on him.

Fire officers from St. Johns Fire Station arrived at the scene and used the Jaws of Life to free his body from under the truck.

Jones sustained injuries to his chest and head and was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:06 pm. Three passengers were also transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center complaining of pain and were treated and discharged.

The incident occurred around 9:30 pm on Tuesday, 17 December.

The Police Administration expresses sympathy to his family, as they mourn his tragic passing.
