Last Thursday, the Calvin Ayre Foundation (CAF) continued its long-standing tradition of spreading holiday joy during the annual Christmas gift-giving ceremony at the Friends Developmental Center special needs facility.

This much-anticipated event saw every child receiving a special gift from Mrs. Claus and her trusty assistant, Optimist 2024 winner, Jordyn Henriques, ensuring smiles and laughter filled the room.

The highlight of the day was granting the heartfelt wish of Aiden Parks-Reid, a student at the Center. Aiden, who celebrated his birthday on December 20th, had one wish: to travel.

Thanks to the combined efforts of the Calvin Ayre Foundation and CalvinAir Helicopters, Aiden and his best friend, Khadejah, enjoyed an unforgettable helicopter ride, making his dream come true.

Aiden Parks-Reid expressed his joy and excitement following the helicopter ride:

“This is the best day ever with all my friends! Flying in a helicopter over Antigua was amazing. I want to thank everyone who made this possible—you’ve given me the best birthday ever!”

The Calvin Ayre Foundation remains committed to uplifting communities and bringing joy to those in need, especially during the holiday season.

Events like these reflect CAF’s mission to improve lives and create lasting memories for individuals and families across Antigua and Barbuda.
