Seventeen-year-old Gabrielle Hamlet is set to represent Antigua and Barbuda in the 42nd Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant on Saturday in the British Virgin Islands.

Competing against 12 other contestants, she will showcase her talents in categories like theatrical presentation, performing talent, and evening wear, with her talent being a dance.

Hamlet has prepared extensively with her team, including chaperone Ayanna Dorsett. The Sir Novelle Richards Academy is hosting a live screening of the event, and residents are encouraged to vote for Hamlet on the pageant’s Facebook page for the ‘People’s Choice’ award.

Ministers Daryll Matthew and Shenella Govia have expressed their support for her, and Hamlet and her team have thanked various sponsors for their assistance.
