In an ambitious move to enhance the nation’s water supply, the country’s prime minister, Gaston Browne, announced that water production capacity is set to expand by an impressive five million gallons per day, paving the way for a total production of 13 million gallons daily by September 2025.

This development comes as part of a strategic commitment to fulfill the increasing water needs of communities nationwide.

He emphasized that many regions have been experiencing inconsistent water supply and that solutions to these challenges are complex and multifaceted.

In his address to the nation to mark the end of 2024, Browne noted that addressing water supply issues demands significant time, resources, and a dedicated workforce at the APUA.

To further bolster these efforts, a substantial investment of $110 million has been earmarked for upgrading water infrastructure and enhancing the skills of staff engaged in water production, distribution, and maintenance.

This initiative aims to ensure that the flow of water becomes more reliable and sustainable for all citizens.

  1. Another election promise that will meet the same fate as all of his others.
Would Gaston resign if he fails yet again to meet this commitment?

  2. You may delete the comment but I am sure you get the message. Late last year you seemed very opposed to using A.I. You boasted that you had PIAD reporters, you boasted that it was real people writing your stories NOT A.I. You said it was your competitor using A.I and said that their keyboards were dusty for lack of usage. Now, on this 1st day of January 2025, every single news you have written is by a.i? The same ghost that you spoke about.
