Deon Lloyd Remanded to Prison
Deon Lloyd, has been remanded in prison until March 26 following his initial court appearance on Monday.
The Lower Ottos resident is accused of murdering Jevon Williams, a grave charge stemming from a tragic incident on January 2 of this year, during which Lloyd allegedly shot and killed Williams, who succumbed to his injuries instantly at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were complicated, as Lloyd also sustained injuries and was hospitalized due to wounds he incurred during the altercation that escalated into the shooting.
During his court appearance, he presented before Senior Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel with his right hand in a cast, a visible testament to the violence of that fateful day.
Lloyd is currently being represented by attorney Wendel Alexander as he navigates the legal proceedings ahead.
