US President Donald Trump
Shortly after his inauguration, President Donald Trump outlined a series of stringent measures aimed at curbing unauthorized border crossings and initiating the deportation of a significant number of individuals residing in the United States without legal status.
These policy shifts were anticipated to be implemented swiftly in the initial hours and days of his second term, following a campaign in which Trump pledged to initiate the most extensive deportation effort in the nation’s history.
He instructed his Cabinet members to “take all appropriate action to repel, repatriate, or remove any alien engaged in the invasion,” which included explicitly revoking the right of migrants to file for asylum.
Through additional executive actions, Trump has sought to alter the definition of birthright citizenship, which is currently safeguarded by the 14th Amendment of the Constitution, and has suspended the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program.
While the Cabinet concentrated on assessing how Trump’s new policy directions would affect Antigua and Barbuda, it was also acknowledged that the broader Caribbean region is likely to experience similar impacts.
It was agreed that Antigua and Barbuda’s Embassy in the United States will remain vigilant in monitoring these developments.
Donald Trump don’t want you all in his country. So many Antiguans and caribbeab people living undocumented in the US. But guess what? For them it’s better than catching hell in the Caribbean.
Exactly, plus the many that were born there n have never lived elsewhere due 2their parents or grandparents having migrated there….
Now, with the potential influx of people when they r deported 2their country of origin, where will they get housing? Employment? Food? Etc ?
This greatly affects ALL spectrums of society….
This could be a good thing. Good talent leaves this county in droves to build a country that isn’t theirs and that doesn’t want them. Scaring enough decent people to stay home and build their own country instead of moving to a one bedroom in the Bronx with 10 people may be just what we need. America is no promise land. We need to understand that.

With the current status quo of nonchalance from the mins. of Ed, only when the teachers decide to strike again with any proactive measures b contemplated, as it’d b a reaction 2pacify the ppl instead of being proactive from now to work on the necessary infrastructure to b able 2accomodate the influx of students….
….*will any proactive measures….
And how gleefully these black Antiguan/Caribbean jackasses clap their hands in glee at the possible consequences for black people everywhere. Maybe “THEY”.. are right, after all. Maybe, after all, WE are just a……
All the Jamaicans, Dominicans, Spanish and Guyanese who have Antigua and Barbuda citizenship living in America, will be deported directly to Antigua. The nation of Antigua please be prepared for the influx of deportees.
They should be sent back to their place of birth when they arrive here.
Many countries will be affected by Trump’s decisions
Some people in Antigua was on the Trump bandwagon so you get what you wish for you a$$3$. HAH HAH
Y’all need to understand the majority of illegals they’re going after are the ones crossing the borders by FOOT. These people tend to live in areas that are overcrowded with other illegals. For the most part, Antiguans enters the US
LEGALLY through the airports.
Illegal Antiguans are at very low risk of being deported by this dragnet. How many illegal Antiguans were returned to Antigua during the Obama,1stTrump or Biden administrations? That’s what you can expect this time too.
