Four Detained For Stealing Aggregates From Public Cemetery

Four people, including a security guard are being questioned by police for allegedly stealing aggregates from the premises of the newly constructed public cemetery at Tomlinsons.

Around 11:45 pm on Thursday, the police responded to a report where three suspects were seen on the premises loading gravel into a truck.

Having arrived at the scene the officers met the men with shovels and several buckets of gravel stones.

They were arrested and taken into custody, along with the security guard, who was also on duty at the time.

The vehicle was also seized and taken to the police station. Further investgations are ongoing into the matter.

  1. Seriously? Werenr afraid the dead woke up and take you under? Nah man. This is getting serious. But then again I have heard stories that grave yard diggers run away with dead peoples jewelry and their casket.
