Golden Grove Primary School

A concerning incident unfolded this afternoon at Golden Grove Primary School when a father reportedly entered the premises armed with weapons and threatening to kill his child.

Witnesses indicated that he was armed with a knife and possibly a gun, making threats to harm his child, claiming that he had discovered the child was not biologically his.

Fortunately, the child in question was already taken home by the mother.

Director of Education Clare Browne visited the school moments ago and Education Minister Daryll Mathew is aware of the situation.

The police are also investigating the matter.

Too many times Antiguans run with stories and automatically believe what is being said in the media houses and putting down persons before police investigations are made and put out to the public. It is disheartening that this poor man was just trying to get information on his child and in the process his name was dragged through the mud in false pretenses. Commenters and authors need to do more investigations before slandering someone’s good name. I’m disappointed in every comment and the person who wrote this article without fact checking. It bothers me because anyone of us could be the next victim of this same incident… being made out to be aggressive when we aren’t. I hope for once something is learnt here.

      • I find you directly out of place P. How do you even know a female gave the man a wrong child? Could be a case of the man just being a jealous ass like most men. Or he is probably deranged. Always blaming females when you niggaz aint shit.

  6. Deception is a painful thing especially when it comes to a man believing that he has a son or daughter for years loving that child making plans for that child sacrificing for that child and what ever else… just to find out it was all a lie, but the child is innocent bro. The woman is the problem. Another Delilah among us
