Rodney Jarvis is new ABLP City West Branch Chairman

Rodney Jarvis

Rodney Jarvis is the new Chairman of the Antigua Barbuda Labour Party City West Branch.

He beat his only opponent Kem Hodge by 94 votes during the election held at the Villa primary school on Thursday.

Jarvis secured 179 votes to Hodge’s 85 in the largest branch elections ever held in that constituency.

Member of Parliament for City West Prime Minister Gaston Browne said he was impressed by the large turnout of voters even amid the downpours of rain.

Both Jarvis and Hodge teams will meet with PM Browne next week to outline plans for the branch going forward.

Jarvis succeeds Delano Richards as Chairman.

Branch elections are held every two years.

  1. I strongly believe Hodge would be a better man for the job but best believe what is for you cannot be for someone else.
