Berisford Sam

The Antigua & Barbuda Port Authority advises the public that there will be a temporary disruption in services on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, to facilitate the funeral of our esteemed Chief Pilot, Beresford Sam.

While the Port will remain open, the following departments will experience service interruptions during this time:
• Administrative Department
• Marine Department
• Warehouse Operations

We encourage customers and stakeholders to plan accordingly, as there may be delays in processing and service delivery. Normal operations will resume after 1:00 PM.

Chief Pilot Beresford Sam was a dedicated and highly respected member of the maritime community, and this period allows our team the opportunity to pay their final respects.

We appreciate the public’s understanding and cooperation during this time.
