Boris Latour Says He Resigned Voluntarily as Antiguan Ambassador

You can now listen to Antigua News articles!

Boris Latour

Florence Vulva, the Executive Assistant to Former Antiguan Ambassador Boris Latour has issued a statement to the press, claiming that Latour resigned voluntarily from his position and his appointment was not revoked.

Both Prime Minister Gaston Browne and his Foreign Affairs Minister E.P. Chet Greene confirmed that Latour’s appointment was revoked after he failed to voluntarily resign.

Where his other matters are concerned, the presumption of innocence applies.

Below is the statement issued by Latour’s Executive Assistant this morning.

STATEMENT

The Ambassador has voluntarily resigned—he has not been dismissed—so that he may demonstrate his innocence. Mr. Latour is an honorable individual, a highly successful entrepreneur, and a distinguished diplomat, who is clearly the victim of a malicious conspiracy intended to undermine his reputation and integrity.

He categorically denies the spurious allegations set forth in the media. This misinformation campaign, motivated by malice, represents a deliberate and longstanding attempt to tarnish his name. These claims, entirely baseless and clearly aimed at discrediting him, are firmly rejected as “fake news.” All legal avenues will be pursued to defend his rights and preserve his honor.

Furthermore, the presumption of innocence must be maintained, and any concerted effort to sully a reputation should not go unpunished. The future will confirm that Mr. Latour bears no responsibility for these fallacious accusations. We also remind everyone that, from an ethical standpoint, it is important to moderate accusations and verify facts before disseminating potentially harmful information.

ANOTHER FLIP? Soooo on one hand, Florence Vulva said the dude resigned voluntarily…which suggests to me that it was a personal choice…However, the conflicting statements from Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Foreign Affairs Minister E.P. Chet Greene saying something else?
Could this signal potential political maneuvering or a deeper rift within Antigua’s diplomatic circles? I love it here indeed.
A man is innocent until proven guilty, but my thing is if he was asked to resign, then it is clearly because there was something UP. Usually, to save face, people ask you to resign. But PM and Chet said his appointment was revoked. Who is fooling who here? A man trying to save his CUTE FACE/ or an honest government?
Moreover, the assertion that the presumption of innocence applies in Latour’s other matters highlights a fundamental principle of justice—yet it also raises the question of what those “other matters” entail.

So listen. One thing I know about Gaston is that he wouldn’t lie. To be honest I hate the way that his truths are so brutal. But he tells the truth. If gaston said the man appointment was revoked you better believe it was. Sometimes he tells the truth too truthfully but he is like that. So Latour…I am not saying you are innocent or guilty…I am saying if your appointment was revoked while you fight your family or your demons then no issue in this. Why be all prideful and messy about it? Take it like a man!

Whoa, hold on a second! This is like a classic case of “he said, she said” but on a whole other level! Florence is out here claiming Latour resigned on his own, but the Prime Minister and the Foreign Affairs Minister are like, “Nah, buddy, we fired him!” It’s wild! 🚨 Is it a cover-up? An inside job? Who’s telling the truth? I mean, how could you both be right? This is like the plot of a political thriller, where everyone is plotting behind closed doors! I’m on the edge of my seat! 🍿 What’s next? A secret meeting? Hidden letters? This drama just keeps escalating! Time to investigate deeper! Does anyone else smell a conspiracy? 🔍

Taxes are high…we can hardly buy food…we are sad…but when I come here on Antigua.news I laugh till I cry….ok so Wait, hold on a second! So, Florence Vulva says that Boris Latour resigned voluntarily, but then both the Prime Minister and the Foreign Affairs Minister are saying his appointment was revoked because he didn’t resign? That doesn’t really add up, does it? It sounds super confusing! How can there be such a big difference in what they’re saying? I mean, did he resign or not?

hmmm! It’s hard to know who to believe at this point.first, we hear Latour resigned voluntarily, and now the government’s saying he didn’t. Either way, someone’s not telling the whole story.
