World’s Toughest Row 2024/25: Final Boat Arrives in Antigua!

​The World’s Toughest Row – Atlantic 2024/2025 has officially concluded. A total of 36 teams successfully crossed the finish line at English Harbour, with 108 remarkable adventurers completing the challenging 3,000-mile journey from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Nelson’s Dockyard.

Over the past 30 days, more than 650 family members and friends of the rowers have visited Antigua and Barbuda, enjoying the beauty of the destination and the warmth of the local hospitality.

 

​The organizers of The World’s Toughest Row take pride in being the official ocean rowing event in Antigua and Barbuda, thanks to a strong partnership with the Ministry of Tourism.

They are already looking forward to returning next year with over 40 teams!

After the final arrivals, CEO and Race Owner Carsten Heron Olsen expressed, “Once again, we can hear the horns of the super yachts celebrating the end of another incredible race. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the people of Antigua, especially our dear friends at Nelson’s Dockyard, for their support and warm welcome to us as race organizers and to our adventurous teams, their families, and friends on the island.”

    Congratulations to all the teams who completed the 3,000-mile Atlantic challenge! It’s amazing to see the event grow and bring so many visitors to Antigua and Barbuda!
