Search Operation to Expand Today for Missing Fisherman Mathias Greenaway

Mathias Greenaway has been missing since February 21st

Authorities have initiated an extensive search for Mathias Greenaway, a local fisherman who went missing on Friday, February 21, 2025. 

Greenaway was last seen departing from Point Wharf around 3 p.m., prompting concern among friends and family who reported him missing shortly thereafter.

Already, the Coast Guard launched a search effort deploying rescue teams but have not yielded any positive results.

Coast Guard officials confirmed that they will expand their search today.

    • Even the fishermen now are not being found when they go missing. I’m remembering the Barbudans and at the same time hoping this young man is found
