BREAKING: Masked Intruders Attempt Break-In at Newly Unveiled Bowers Rehabilitation Center Last Night

25 February 2025 - 07:39

Denis Bowers Rehabilitation Center

Just under 12 hours after its grand unveiling, two masked intruders attempted to break into the Bowers Rehabilitation Center, which was previously known as the Boys Training School.

Their plan was foiled when staff members were preparing to leave the compound during the early evening hours.

Eyewitnesses confirmed the incident to Antigua.news, noting that the masked men were caught in the act, but unfortunately, the thieves managed to escape the scene before law enforcement arrived.

The newly established facility is not only a beacon of hope for rehabilitation but is also outfitted with state-of-the-art technology, boasting a collection of brand-new laptops, computers, and fully stocked refrigerators, along with many other valuable resources and equipment.

It’s disheartening to think that such a promising new center has already been targeted in this manner.
