Friends of Delroy Victor having a discussion

His best friend and coworker Trevon told Antigua.news that he cannot figure out what could have caused him to take his life.

“He always pushes us, he was our mentor, he was a motivator. I didn’t see him for a few days, but I wasn’t worried because he does a lot of farming all over” he said

Victor is a household name in his community and several people we interviewed said he was a well-loved individual who never found himself in trouble.

  5. Condolences to the family and friends. i think everyone will be baffled by the fact that SLBMC sent home a suicidal patient a day after he tried to harm himself. Also why would the family leave him unattended

  6. Dear Delroy, I click on the news daily reading things about the world. who would’ve known that today i would’ve been reading about you. I grabbed my phone the moment i heard a coworker saying “they found some man by the name of Delroy Victor hanging”, the moment i was over with reading, my eyes filled water and i was asking God to let it be another person or a fake identity. i got the call of confirmation, that you will no longer be here with me. I spoke with you yesterday and you told me that you never knew it was poison. Delroy why didn’t you just speak with me and tell me what’s on your mind. i miss you so much and i have to live with you not coming back to me. Please delroy, wake me up from this nightmare. i can’t catch myself. i write with my eyes filled water, and still i cant believe. SIP Delroy, I LOVE YOU

  11. The system failed this young man and so did his so called friends and family. How in the h*ll does a hospital send a suicidal patient home? Even if he said he was not aware that what he had injested was poisonous any caring medical professional worth their salt would have been suspicious and would have at least o served him in hospital overnight. But maybe there aren’t a y caring professionals left in the medical field. Where were his ” friends” and family? Were they not aware of his visit to the hospital? Why did not one of them stay with him for at least the rest of the day post discharge and all night? We have got to do better. Let’sook out for each other man. Damn!
