In a shocking incident that has sparked outrage across social media platforms, an 82-year-old man named Stedman Scotland was filmed being arrested by police.

The footage depicts Scotland being apprehended, with officers shoving him into the trunk of a red SUV after he reportedly resisted arrest.

The circumstances surrounding Scotland’s arrest remain unclear, with no official information released about the charges he faced or the reasons for police intervention. This has fueled discussions among residents, leading to a divided opinion on the matter.

On one side, many locals have expressed their anger over the treatment of the elderly man, labeling the police’s actions as excessive and unwarranted

Conversely, some community members suggest that Scotland should have complied with the officers’ orders to avoid escalation. They argue that cooperating with law enforcement can prevent such confrontations and that the matter could have been handled more smoothly at the police station.

The local police department has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident or any updates on the case.

  1. That is absolutely horrifying and inhumane. No one, especially an elderly person with dementia, should ever be treated that way.

If this happened recently, I hope the authorities or human rights organizations are investigating and holding those responsible accountable.

    WHERE IS THE CHRISTIAN GOD?

  3. Not all 82 year Olds have dementia. Judging from what i saw and heard on the video, during the confrontation with the police officer,, I doubt it!
I do agree that, based on what was shown in the video, the arresting officer could have exercised some restraint in dealing with an elderly person. The arresting officer needs to give account for his horrific handling of the matter. Was the red vehicle an official police vehicle? Why was the old man forced into the “trunk” of the vehicle.? Did the old man ever get an answer to the question he kept asking the officer i.e.”What is the charge?”(or words to that effect). Very disturbing video.

  4. I hope a lawsuit is coming soon for that poor professional display by that police officer…is there no legal and professional expectations for officers?….if this was done by an ordinary citizen, would it not justify charges for assault?

    • This seems alittle too harsh to me. I don’t know the full extent of the situation but the way he was dragged. Also why didn’t he just comply? Just saying.
