New Requests for Scotland Yard’s Help in Unsolved Murders of Two Young Girls

Yenifer Bridge and Achazia James

The government has once again reached out to Scotland Yard for assistance in solving the homicide case of two teenage girls.

It has been several months since the government first announced that it would seek Scotland Yard’s help in investigating the deaths of Yenifer Bridges and Achazia James, who both lost their lives last year.

The Legal Affairs Department had previously contacted the international law enforcement agency regarding the cases of Yenifer Bridges and Achazia James. However, Prime Minister Gaston Browne indicated that there were delays in bringing Scotland Yard’s team to Antigua.

He has now instructed that a new formal request be made.

“We want to demonstrate to the Antiguan public that we are utilizing all available resources, including external assistance,” stated PM Browne during the Browne and Browne show.

Last year, a series of murders left the community in shock and mourning, particularly the tragic loss of the two young girls.

Yenifer Bridges, only 16 years old, was found dead near Fig Tree Drive in late July. Her untimely death devastated her family and sent waves of fear and sadness throughout the entire community, highlighting the urgent need for justice.

In a heartbreaking follow-up, the body of 15-year-old Achazia James was recovered in early August at Runaway Beach. Like Yenifer, Achazia was a bright and vibrant young girl with a promising future ahead of her.

Because it is not a minister’s child. If it was we would get to the bottom of it. Nonchalant!

Hmmm. I’m pretty sure that if Chantel’s murderer was not found she would’ve been a case like these two teenagers. I can still hear the justice cries for Achazia but Antiguan Government don’t care

Two young ladies killers are still out there. Angela did not work alone so other potential killers/ human traffickers are still out there. Let’s be for real rn. This is the life we are going to continue living? We watching series where they spend forever on a case. Why can’t Antigua police do the exact same? Lazy much!! Justice for the three girls. Yall choose to continue the case after these females would’ve been buried? Wow

I remember last year a young boy was missing and today, I haven’t heard anything further about him. I think the young boy was also a student of the Five Island Primary School.

I believe our methods of investigation and crime fighting are out dated and that’s one of the reasons the criminals are getting the best of us even solving simple crimes

They need to look into all these disappearances and murder cases, one by one and see if they are connected.
