A 32-year-old Jennings resident has admitted to possessing a dangerous modified weapon following a police operation.
Steven Roberts entered a guilty plea Wednesday when he appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel at St. John’s Magistrates’ Court.
The charges arose from a March 25 police raid where officers discovered a modified nail gun and two 9mm ammunition.
A female occupant initially charged alongside Roberts was discharged following her not guilty plea.
Meanwhile, Roberts’ admission of responsibility has set the stage for his sentencing hearing scheduled for March 31.
