Residents are being encouraged to show up in their numbers and participate in a march today.
The ‘Soul of the Nation’ march is set to take place later today and is geared towards highlighting several issues plaguing the nation such as crime, high cost of living, infrastructure problems and alleged lack of transparency in the government.
It is being organized by William ‘Zeezee’ Thomas and Vere Bird III.
This will be the second public demonstration organized by both men following a similar protest held last month.
The march will leave from the former PDO building at 5:00pm and will move up into the city and will culminate at the Old Parliament building.
Organizers hope to conclude the event by 7:30pm.
The organizers are inviting all citizens to participate and bring placards along.
