A St. Vincent and the Grenadines national, identified as 38-year-old Kemanie Curtis Spencer, is facing deportation after unlawfully entering Antigua and Barbuda for the second time.

Spencer appeared before Senior Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Wednesday, where he faced charges laid out by the Chief Immigration Officer. These charges included leaving a vessel without prior consent and re-entering the country after having been legally deported.

Following the hearing, the court ordered Spencer’s deportation to be carried out on Thursday. He is currently detained at the Immigration Detention Centre until the deportation procedure is completed.

      • Shut ya rass!!

    • A lot of them come into Antigua and Barbuda by boat. Some even joined the police force, too. The Homeland Border Security system is very poor. Anyone can come and go by boat. He will be back into the country in less than a month once deported.

  5. ABSOLUTELY NO APOLIGIES NECESSARY To those who question why anybody would want to “come to this dump anyway”, I say to you as gently as I can, “Then get your sorry behind out and allow the rest of us who CHOOSE to stay behind, the joy and pleasure to reside in our own “dump”. Some of us actually do “like it here”!
