The Rotary Club of Antigua and Barbuda has officially launched its main fundraising event, the annual Carnival fete, with the 2025 theme: “Colours of the Wild, Wild West.”

The launch event took place at the Trade Winds Hotel on Friday, where Rotary Club members, sponsors, and media representatives gathered to celebrate this significant occasion.

President Sherri-Ann Brazier highlighted the importance of the Colours fete, stating that the proceeds from this event significantly support the club’s various charitable initiatives throughout the year.

This year marks the 16th edition of the Colours fete, and Brazier presented 16 compelling reasons for the people of Antigua and Barbuda to support this impactful event.

Among the many community projects funded through the fete, Brazier noted the continued success of the Meals on Wheels initiative, providing food packages each month to families in need since 1985.

The club also runs a wheelchair program that enhances mobility and dignity for many individuals in the community.

The Colours fete: “Colours of the Wild, Wild West” is scheduled for July 19 at the CCG.

Early bird tickets are now on sale, and the Rotary Club encourages community members to participate in making a difference through this much-anticipated annual event.ble.

Why don’t Antigua news just make a commentary section rather than making this news. This almost like posting international news. It’s neither here or there.
