The Boys Training School, which recently commenced full operations, is set to enhance its capabilities with a newly allocated budget of $100,000 specifically designated for food and essential supplies. This information was outlined in this morning’s Cabinet notes.
Currently, the facility is home to seven young boys as it embarks on its mission of rehabilitation and support.
This funding is expected to be crucial in ensuring that these boys receive nutritious meals and the necessary resources that foster a conducive learning and living environment.
The administration of the Boys Training School expressed gratitude for the support, emphasizing its commitment to creating a nurturing space focusing on personal development and skill-building for the residents.
With the initial intake of seven boys, the center aims to expand its reach while maintaining quality care and attention progressively.
The investment in food and supplies is seen as a foundational step in promoting the boys’ physical and emotional well-being.
As the school moves forward, it will continue to seek additional resources and partnerships to enhance its programs and outreach efforts further, ultimately striving to make a positive difference in the lives of its young residents.
This is a good initiative. I hope the funds are utilized in the proper manner
So adequate meals and what ever environment you trying to create is going to stop them from damaging government property, or even worse? Look at the condition of those doors. Stop treating them like innocents and deal with them according to their merits, otherwise….
hoping the funds are used to do what is stated above
Let me guess. Taxpayers’ money, right? You see, this is the nonsense that I cannot understand and stomach. I must pay to keep these little boys who care nothing about life, belly full. Send these boys and get work to do. All that money for Boys Training School. Do you know the number of families who cannot feed their children. Who is making allowances for them. Yet i have to pay to feed these types of people.
Thank you for making this funding to these youngsters. They need all the love and help they needed.
With structure and support prayerfully these young men can be saved. Sometimes consistant meals, a roof overhead, and people who genuinely care about you will make that a reality. The children are our future so let’s do all that we can to make them all strong and ready for it.
