Senior Counsel Anthony Astaphan says the government followed appropriate legal protocols throughout the process. Astaphan emphasized that the steps taken were in line with regulations, providing a solid foundation for the transaction.

  1. Every sensible citizen knows in hus/her heart that the government acted in the best interest of the country. I shudder to think of how the UPP would have handled this entire saga, from the US placing the vessel under sanction, to the obvious abandonment of the vessel in our pristine waters, through the repeated failure of anyone coming forward to claim the prized vessel AND reimburse the Government and taxpayers the huge sums being racked up daily for maintenance of this mega yacht, jjust lying idle creating real and potential damage to OUR maritime environment. Nero Pringle would have continued to fiddle while Rome burned , the jackass Quinn and fellow journalist; de jezebel would be busy spinning one outlandish explanation after the other using their gift of gab to explain away their total paralysis in responding to Russian problem. Thank God we have capable, knowledgeable leaders who can and will safely steer our modest ship of state through the raging waters set in motion by the useless other side. They are absolutely shameless!

  4. Yeah, whatever. Sounds like the government just did what it needed to do. Not sure why everyone’s making a big deal about it.
