St. John’s, Antigua, April 20, 2025. Several CIBC Caribbean customers are smiling today as they shared in over $25,000 cash and gifts as part of a number of bank promotions.

The Joy of Giving Christmas promotion which was held in eight countries across the Caribbean, was aimed at persons applying for loans within the promotional period but having 45 days to complete the process.

Three persons were then randomly selected to participate in a chance to win cash prizes. They selected their cash prizes by choosing from cards with printed dollar values ranging from $13,450 to $4,035, which were concealed.

Once the cover was removed the value of their prize was revealed. Unfortunately, none of the winners picked the card with the highest amount.

Fayad Mousa and Jerry George each received $6,725 and Gail-Ann Fortune’s card revealed a prize of $4,035.

CIBC Visa Credit & Debit Card Joy of Giving Sweepstakes also rewarded its winner, Mr. Pedro Corbin who received US$2,500. From the Valentine Land Loan promotion, Nerissa Ashe received a gift certificate valued at US$300 from The Hut at Little Jumby.

There was also a special prize of a 32-inch TV courtesy of Cool and Smooth, awarded to Drucella Joseph for attending the bank’s recently held Mortgage Fair.

Mr. Mali Newton, Manager – Loans & Mortgage Centre said that the whole concept of these campaigns is to reward our valuable customers and to show our appreciation for their loyalty.

“We are thrilled to celebrate our customers today with these well-deserved prizes. This campaign not only rewards our loyal customers but also reflects our appreciation for their trust in us as their financial partner. We are dedicated to providing continued exceptional service and innovative banking solutions that meet their needs,” he said.
