In an exciting conclusion to the recent Seatrade Cruise Global 2025 event in Miami, the Antigua Cruise Port team eagerly shared their experiences on social media, exclaiming, “It’s a wrap!”

This gathering, marking its milestone 40th anniversary, attracted thousands from across the cruise industry, reflecting the significant role of Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean cruise landscape.

A distinguished delegation led by Gasper Joseph, head of Antigua and Barbuda operations, represented the island at this prestigious event.

As part of the Global Ports Holding group, which oversees 33 cruise ports across 21 countries, Antigua Cruise Port emphasized its commitment to future innovations in cruise tourism.

The port expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone who stopped by their booth, reinforcing their dedication to maintaining Antigua’s status as a premier destination in the global cruise market.

  1. These international events are great, but back home we still dealing with basic infrastructure issues. Hope there’s follow-through.

  2. I’m proud of our visibility at Seatrade, but we can’t rely solely on cruise tourism. We need to think about how this industry connects to our youth, our communities, and long-term resilience. Cruise tourism can bring huge benefits, but it must be balanced. Vendors, taxi operators, and local artisans should all benefit, not just big companies and port authorities.

  3. I commend the team for representing Antigua and Barbuda at such a prestigious event, we must ask, is this a meaningful development or just another proud moment for the government ahead of election season? just asking tho

  4. Politicians love to tout partnerships with cruise lines, but we rarely see that money trickle down to the street vendors, tour operators, or struggling communities. These wins are only real if they result in broad-based, visible improvements.
