21-year-old Thomas Christopher Vasquez

Candy Vasquez, the mother of 21-year-old Thomas Vasquez, has found herself in a state of despair as she seeks the public’s assistance in locating her son.

Thomas, a Trinidadian, was last seen on the morning of April 15th while working at a marijuana farm in Glanvilles, Antigua. According to his mother, he had returned to the island just a day earlier and was dropped off at the farm after spending the night with friends.

Since that day, he has not spoken to the family, leaving them in anguish.

During an emotional appeal on a morning program with Dr. Jacqui Quinn on local radio station Antigua Observer, Candy shared that the farm’s operator, known as “Solomon,” initially dismissed her worries, claiming that Thomas often took time off to socialize with friends.

However, after she reached out for updates, Solomon’s communication stopped, and he later stated that he hadn’t seen Thomas since his last day of work.

Desperate for answers, Candy has called on the residents of Antigua and Barbuda to assist with any information that could help reunite her with her son.

Thomas, who had been traveling back and forth between Trinidad and Antigua for work, was in the country for the third time when he disappeared.

Adding to the mystery, his personal belongings, including his identification documents, have not been found. In response to this alarming situation, a group of concerned citizens from Antigua and Barbuda, spearheaded by Dr. Jacqui Quinn, have begun organizing search efforts in the Willikies area.

The local community is coming together, hoping to uncover any clues that may shed light on this unsettling disappearance. With each passing day, Candy clings to the hope that someone will step forward with information that could bring her son home safely.
