Ridge Turner will be spending the next 27 months in His Majesty’s Prison for possessing a gun and ammunition without a license.

Turner pleaded guilty before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Monday to charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Turner, 33, of Parham, was then remanded into custody until today for sentencing.

The guilty plea stems from an incident that occurred around 5:30 am on Saturday, April 26, when officers from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force were conducting a mobile patrol in the Grays Farm area.

Police observed Turner behaving suspiciously and conducted a search, which resulted in the discovery of one .32mm pistol and one round of ammunition on his person.

  4. RIDGE. I know him. Pretty face. Don’t like to work. Can’t stay in jobs. But there is hope. Maybe the months in jail will make him change.
