A $50,000 grant from the Job Empowerment Fund (JEF) is supporting a project in Antigua and Barbuda that helps disabled individuals acquire skills for self-sufficiency in food production.
The initiative focuses on sustainable farming and the use of smart technology to foster resilience in the community.
Bernard Warner, head of the local disability association, is optimistic about the progress, as participants have been trained over the past four years in these techniques.

Must say, the disability persons are some smart and strong ones, i remember some time ago they had a video on tariffs n the PDV n how it will affect them. And they are here now, finding ways for better living. The well n walking should take a page from the disability book
I have just been so impressed with production quality of Antigua News and i love the consistency of it all!
