PRESS RELEASE
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda — Thursday, May 15, 2025
The police have arrested and formally charged 33-year-old Ericson Williams of Potters with Attempted Murder.
The charge stems from an incident that occurred on April 21 in Potters, where Williams allegedly sprayed Josh Charles, also of Potters, with a hazardous substance. Charles sustained severe injuries as a result and remains hospitalized at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Williams is expected to make his first court appearance today.
The police continue their investigation and urge anyone with additional information to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914.
