  1. What a great pity that this country has no reliable news dissemination portals, but instead have to put up with third rate journalists and reporters whose sole aim is NOT to inform, but to alarm!

    • Faithful National you are clearly an ABLP operative. Read what Im reading. Unless I am retarded. The man was not dismissed from the public service but dismissed as director. The reporter was correct when she said the press release failed to say whether he remains as director. Yall think people stupid I might not be a reporter or a journalist but I ain’t no retard. The man was moved, removed, dismissed, fired as director. SAME THING!!!!

  4. This is a mess. We don’t care about all the wonderful details. We need to know if the man is director or not. We dont want to know where he was moved to or which project they invented for him. Is he director or not? Simple question.

  6. Good work. Dont just publish their press release. The PR person should be fired for writing this nonesense. Who authorized this nonesence anyway?

  7. Instead of just randomly firing people, perhaps first some sort of audit of operations should be carried to determine how processes could be improved in these Government Ministries and Departments. A team could be put together including business experts, IT experts, and financial experts to carry out such studies, which should include consultation with regular workers on the ground. They can then deliver comprehensive restructuring reports to the persons in charge. If the persons in charge don’t act then you can consider removing them. People should be given a chance and resources to improve before drastic action is taken.

  8. People like to suggest that if the public service was run like the private sector all would be well, butin reality, most businesses fail so the average business is actually poorly run. Poorly run businesses can be shut down but the government provides essential services so it must continue to limp along. Strategies to improve government operations must be pondered but it’s not really as simple as copying the private sector businesses.
