Two Suspects In Police Custody For Alleged Theft Of Vehicle

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda — Thursday, May 15, 2025

The police are questioning two male suspects in connection with the alleged the of a motor vehicle.

Around 2 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department were conducting mobile patrols in the Villa area when they intercepted a silver Toyota Vitz that had been reported stolen.

Two occupants, a 16-year-old and an adult male, were apprehended and taken into police custody. The said vehicle was reportedly stolen from the owner on Tuesday, May 13,  in the vicinity of the Antigua Grammar School. It was taken to the Police Headquarters for further forensic examination. Further investigations are ongoing into the incident.

    • Well, they did say an adult male. We are yet to know if the 16 Year Old was apart of the theft. Or the man just told him he’s driving his friend car. Can’t get to the conclusion so fast, the story just begin

  5. Antigua never changes. We need more police on patrol to stop some shit. Too many times vehicles are being stolen from people and it’s about time that stop.

  6. So many people are missing their vehicles and so many people are stealing them. I said if I find anyone in my yard trying to take what belongs to be their hand will remain on the ground. DUppy know who fi frighten and thieves know who house to come into.
