Cornwall To Lead Antigua & Barbuda at Leeward Islands T20 Cricket Festival

The Antigua and Barbuda Cricket Association (ABCA) has officially announced a 14-member squad for the upcoming Leeward Islands Cricket Board (LICB) T20 Festival, scheduled to take place from May 31 to June 8, 2025.

International all-rounder Rahkeem Cornwall has been appointed captain of the team, with Karima Gore serving as vice-captain. The squad features a blend of experienced players and promising talents, including spinner Hayden Walsh and emerging star Kofi James.

The team’s first match will pit them against St. Kitts on May 31 at 7 pm. Five other teams will participate in the competition: Nevis, Anguilla, Combined Islands (St. Maarten and Montserrat), and Virgin Islands (British and United States).

The complete squad consists of Rahkeem Cornwall (Captain), Karima Gore (Vice Captain), Kofi James, Hayden Walsh, Elroy Francis Jr., Javier Spencer, Nino Henry, Glenton Williams, D’Ahri Francis, Jedidiah Martin, Tyrone Williams Jr., Micah McKenzie, Bartlette Henry, and Michael Dover. Amahl Nathaniel and Ishmael Peters have been named as reserves, while the management team includes Pernel Watley as Coach and Purnell Joseph as Manager.

  1. I would have never thought that I would see the day that Antigua News would be stealing the stories of others and not giving them no credit. I read this story in the Antigua Observer lol.
