PUBLIC NOTICE: Ministry of Works Continues Community Roads Repairs

The Ministry of Works wishes to inform the general public of continued community road repairs this weekend.

 

JOHN’S, Antigua and Barbuda (May 17th, 2025) , The Ministry of Works wishes to inform the public of ongoing road works across several communities this weekend.

The following works are scheduled for this afternoon (Saturday, 17th May, 2025):

  • Road patching will be done in Bolans, DeSouza Road, and All Saints Road.
  • The shoulders on All Saints Road will also be cleaned.
  • Base preparations and installation of pipes for a collapsed culvert in Bolans will also be carried out.
  • Saw cutting will be done in conjunction with the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) at Jennings, Bolans,
  • Wireless Road and Newgate Street.

The following works are scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday, 18th May, 2025):

  • The shoulder on Friars Hill Road will be cleaned.
  • Drainage work will also be carried out in Bolans, where the head walls for the collapsed culvert will be fixed.
  • Base preparation will continue in Bolans.

    • Well at least they working… But not for the better of the country. Cuz next month those same repaid will need to be repaired and the repaired will require repair after and the cycle will continue.

  3. The road works they do makes absolutely no sense……. But who am I to speak? I don’t have the skills….
