Mental Health Talk Antigua (MHTA) is excited to announce a collaboration with St. Barnabas and St. Paul’s Anglican Church to create a new mental health ministry.
This initiative aims to provide essential emotional and psychological support to the church community while engaging the wider community of St. Paul’s through meaningful activities.
The newly formed ministry will serve as a faith-oriented platform dedicated to mental wellness, offering support, education, and outreach to foster both spiritual and emotional health.
This partnership positions the church as a source of healing and hope, encouraging open discussions around mental health and making support readily available.
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, MHTA is launching various initiatives, including a Mental Health Pin Drive where people can purchase green pins to support mental health outreach.
The organization will also engage with schools to educate students about mental wellness, promote a “Wear Green Campaign” for solidarity, and encourage participation in social media efforts to spread awareness using a specific hashtag.
Additionally, MHTA will host weekly live broadcasts on Facebook, featuring inspiring stories and discussions. They also express gratitude to those who supported their annual event, Mindful.
