Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre Celebrates Medical Records Week with Heartfelt Initiative

St. John’s, Antigua — The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre proudly joins in the celebration of Medical Records Week, taking a moment to recognize the vital role played by the dedicated staff of the Medical Records and Outpatient Clinic Departments.

In honor of this week, the hardworking team went beyond their daily duties by organizing a staff-led food drive to benefit the residents of the Fiennes Institute. The initiative saw contributions of canned goods, fresh fruits, personal hygiene items, and cleaning products, reflecting the team’s deep commitment to community care.

A special highlight of the donation came from Island Provision, who generously supported the drive by contributing a variety of fresh fruits. Their partnership exemplifies the power of collaboration in making a meaningful difference.

“We are incredibly proud of our Medical Records and Outpatient Clinic teams,” said a representative from the hospital administration. “Their compassion and teamwork are not only essential to our healthcare delivery but also to the wider community.”

As Medical Records Week continues, the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre extends heartfelt thanks to all staff who work behind the scenes to ensure efficient, compassionate, and effective patient care.

Together, we continue to show that through unity and service, we can achieve remarkable things.

  1. Seems like every day the hospital celebrating one thing or the other. I look forward to the day when they will celebrate seeing more than 20 patients in 24 hours cause I bet that hardly happens
