Kerry Oliver’s Dead Body Found Hogtied in Barrel on Farm in Bendals

Kerry Oliver

The man discovered dead in Bendals on Sunday evening has been identified as Kerry Oliver, known as ‘Dolla Man’ from Pigotts.

He had been reported missing since the previous Friday. Police reported that his body was located inside a barrel on a farm in the Bendals area.

The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, but investigators noted that his hands were bound.

Family members were involved in identifying the body. A motive for the murder has not yet been established.

Previously, police mentioned that his white Honda HR-V, registration number A49722, had been located during the search. The abandoned vehicle was found unlocked on a by-road in the Bathlodge area, with the keys left inside.

Oliver marks the sixth murder victim in the country since the beginning of the year.

Authorities are urging anyone with information that might aid in the police investigation to reach out to the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914.
