  1. How does one refuse these lovely yellow glowing fruit? It’s almost impossible to me. I guess doctors, pills and insulins won’t hurt for the season. Matter fact. I’ll be buying my share tomorrow from the people on friars hill road!

  3. A story with a difference. I love this. The reporter made it funny but very informative. I laughed at the use of the words but the seriousness is important. I learnt a few things too. People with diabetes have sugar spikes and are usually hospitalized during mango season. Great story Antigua.news. Quite different from the usual crime and politics. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

  5. This is what you call classic journalism. When one can use a simple issue to raise awareness of such a serious health implication plaguing Antigua and Barbuda. As a medical practitioner myself, I have seen patients with sugar spikes year-round, but more so when sugary fruits are in season. I have said to diabetics it’s not wrong to eat fruits, but moderation is the way to go.
