Fashion Connect Hit by Three Robberies in Five Months | Losses Exceed 42k

Fashion Connect, a local retail store, has been targeted by criminals in a series of robberies spanning five months, resulting in losses exceeding $42,000 and prompting an ongoing police investigation.

The crime spree began in January 2025 when thieves broke into the store’s former Jennings location. During that first robbery, criminals stole male and female footwear, all men’s clothing, some women’s clothing, watches, jewelry, smoking kits, bags, and a drill. The stolen merchandise was valued at over $15,000, with additional damages exceeding $1,000.

The second robbery occurred on May 11, 2025 – Mother’s Day – at the store’s current Whenner Road location. Thieves again targeted watches, jewelry, and male and female footwear and clothing.

The most recent and costly break-in happened on May 26, 2025, at 1:48 AM. This time, criminals stole similar merchandise along with the store’s cash register, with total losses valued at over $27,000 plus more than $1,000 in damages.

In addition to the three successful robberies, there were two unsuccessful attempts on May 17, 2025, and May 27, 2025 – just one day after the third robbery.

Following the latest incident, Fashion Connect owners took to social media seeking public assistance in identifying the perpetrators. In their post, they shared surveillance video of the break-in and appealed for community help.

Police have identified several suspects and the investigation remains ongoing. Fashion Connect owners are urging anyone with information to contact Police Headquarters at 268 462 0125 or the store directly at 268 775 7383, 268 717 0835, or 268 783 9094. Information can also be shared through direct messages to Fashion Connect on Facebook or Instagram.

…….. I Don’t Know ….. But THIS Sounds Like Our POLICE SERVICE May Not Be Giving THIS TYPE OF CRIME The Time, Resources AND Intelligence Needed To ARREST The Continuity of CRIMES Of THIS Nature. ……… Just Thinking This Through ……

  5. Alot of young, desperate, lazzy people in Antigua and Barbuda. I hate when people say there is no work in Antigua and Barbuda. Nuff jobs around for people to do. Some of these people are downright lazy and want easy money.
